DIY Holiday gifts ~quick budget friendly and edible

Hello, its been a while I have been so busy but finally got a chance to sit back and blog. I love to craft and make pretty things. My mom was such an artsy person and I just know that I get it from her. The holiday's came fast and I have so many people to gift for, it became expensive so I try to scale down in a way but also keep it sweet and simple. I decided to make my version of reindeer food (recipe below) which was put in a cellophane bag and tied with a cute fancy gift tag purchased at Michaels. I also am in love with Coke pop bottles, so that was a added treat also in a cellophane bag tied with your choice of ribbon...So simple and budget friendly, I think this may be a traditional gift for me.

Reindeer food 

Large bag of Skinny pop popcorn

White chocolate 

Holiday green and red mint M&Ms 

Crushed pretzels 

Peanuts (your choice) 

Pour popcorn in a wide baking pan or large bowel 

Add ingredients according to your taste

Drizzle white chocolate evenly

Christmas tree fetti is optional

Let sit overnight for chocolate to harden 

Package up in bags or serve in your favorite holiday bowl

 

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Yayyy!! October is finally here and Im happy to see all the pink floating around and everyone supporting the cause. I was kinda emotional today because it brings everything back but for me I just gotta do my best to keep trucking. I have a lot planned this month also continuing my efforts to raise money for care packages for individuals who are battling  BC. As I look around it seems that the awareness is growing even more so amongst the men and thats great! If you or someone you know is unfamilar with the risk and signs please speak with your doctor, you can always go online or contact your nearest breast cancer awareness center to educate yourself on this disease. If you are a younger adult consult with your doctor to see when is the best age to schedule a mamogram, also routinely preform self breast exams. We gotta stay in the know. Lets fight the fight! Spread awareness and educate yourself -

Mini vacay

Hey everyone. Its been a while since I blogged and I'm trying to get back cause I have so much to share. Just posting a few pics from my lil vacay. I really have not had much time to do anything but decided on a quick getaway. We as in my brother and sister in law stayed at The Prince Resort in North Myrtle Beach which I will be vacationing there every year. First time staying in North Myrtle it was very quiet and laid back. The Prince Resort was very nice when we pulled up and entered the lobby it smelled so nice the workers were very friendly I loved seeing all the coral and pink decor. The room was perfect we stayed in a 2 bedroom condo which included 2 full baths with soak tubs, fully equip large kitchen, flat screens, living room, dining room area and oceanfront with balcony in bedroom. If you vacation with your kids like most do, this resort is kid friendly offering numerous activities for your children like movie night, kids fitness and more. The resort which has two towers face the ocean which sits directly behind cherry grove pier. My stay was 3 nights in which we did visit a few attractions. We mainly took advantage of the fully equip kitchen by cooking most days and nights plus it saves money. One restaurant we did go to that sticks out was the Barbecue House rated no.1 barbecue restaurant in Myrtle. Im not one for barbecue but I agreed to go and so glad I did. Everything I ate was completely wrong but was soooo right and good. I had a fat girl moment. The staff was friendly and we received quick service. We had a bit of cool weather but all in all everything was great oh!! Just incase you didnt know liquor stores close at 7pm :( that sucks so we just sipped baileys and parrot bay frozen wine pouches lol till the next morning.
